第206回 例会 206th Meeting

2022年最初の例会は、入会式で始まりました。何と幸先の良い出だしでしょう！

新しいメンバーAYさん、自分の思いを言語表現する訓練と英語力の向上の目的で入会されました。入会式の担当はVPM(会員担当副会長) MKさん。新たなメンバーが加わり、皆で喜びました。

Our first meeting of the year 2022 started with the induction ceremony.

What a wonderful way to start this new year with a new member, AY-san!

VPM MK-san lead the ceremony. Everybody was so happy!

本日のTMOD(司会進行)HAさん。"先日の雪で雪だるまを作りましたか？"穏やかな口調で例会が進みました。Today's TMOD was HA-san. Did you make a snowman? He led the entire meeting with calm tone.

今日の言葉は、言葉ならず、イディオムで。 "Word of the day" turned to "Idiom of the day"; Start off ~ on the right foot. ～を正しく始める

本日の準備スピーチ / Prepared Speech session

一人目は英語スピーチ AKさん。過去のスピーチの失敗は失敗ではなく、成功のための宝だと、笑顔ながらも確信に満ちたスピーチでした。

First speaker was AK-san. Every failure of my speech was not failure but treasure for the next speech. It was a truly positive speech.

二人目は日本語スピーチのYYさん。ビジュアルエイドも含め、トーストマスターズの素晴らしさを説得力をもって語ってくれました。

2nd Speaker was YY-san. She told how Toastmaster's club is valuable for her life. It was a powerful and persuasive speech with good visual aids.

テーブルトピックス(即興トーク)の司会は HS. Today’s Table Topic Master was HS.

今年の初夢は？　 もしタイムマシーンが発明されたらどの時代に行って何をするか？等々、新しいこと初めてのことにちなんだお題の数々でした。What was your first dream of 2022? If Time-traveling machine were newly invented, what era do you want to go and what do you want to do? And some more topic concerning "new" or "first"

論評の部 Evaluation Session

最初の論評者はHAさん。AKさんのスピーチに対する論評です。キーフレーズを効果的に使ったらより魅力的なスピーチになるのではという提案がなされました。First evaluator, HA -san evaluated AK-san's speech. He suggested to use "Key Phrase" effectively to make her speech even more attractive.

二人目の論評者 TG-san。YYさんのスピーチを論評してくれました。たくさんの良い点が挙げられました。 Second Evaluator TG-san evaluated YY-san's speech. She listed many good things of the speech.
